Harley Set to Build 50 New Models in Five Years - Motorcycle.com News

Harley Set to Build 50 New Models in Five Years In an article published February 2 in the Milwaukee Business Journal, Matt Levatich, CEO of Harley-Davidson, discusses H-D’s growth strategies for the future, including initiatives built to foster more riders from typically under-targeted demographics and countries, which will in turn lead to more buyers. Of all of the strategies Levatich laid out for the future, however, the most intriguing is the planned launch of 50 new models in the next five years – an aggressive tactic to bring more variety to Harley-Davidson’s line and hopefully appeal to a wider consumer base than the already hefty line-up of 37 bikes. Levatich looks to the success of the recently unveiled Milwaukee-Eight as one sign of Harley-Davidson’s innovation and progression in developing new bikes, stating: “I have never been more excited about the products in our pipeline.” To learn more about the details, which include building up to 200 new dealerships outside of the U.S, read the full article here.
